Corporate Match

Corporate Gift matching is a program where companies match donations made by their employers to non-profit, 501(c)3 organization.  Vista Grande Falcon Fund is a non-profit organization.  Many companies encourage charitable giving and matching may be part of your employee benefits.  If you have made a donation to PIE, your company may match your donation to PIE dollar-for-dollar. If everyone who is eligible for matching requested one from his or her employer, PIE would be able to receive over $15,000 in free money from corporate matching this year.

If you have any questions or would like to know if your company matches, please do not hesitate to contact:

What is the Para-Professional Falcon Fund??

Falcon Fund is the Traditional Program’s Parent Investment in Education (formerly called PIE). It is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to raising funds to help maintain and enhance the quality of education for our Traditional program children at Vista Grande. These funds are raised through the collaboration of parents, educators, the school’s Site Council, and the community and are used solely to pay the salaries for classroom paraprofessionals

Our paraprofessionals play an integral role in your child's academic and social success, whether sharing responsibilities with your child's teacher or when tutoring them one-on-one. Their involvement in the classroom further gives teachers the bandwidth to provide individualized, level-appropriate work and attention to those who fall on either side of the academic/social spectrum. Without our Para-professionals, Vista Grande would not be the high-achieving school that it is now.

There are three major ways in which Falcon Fund raises money:

1. Family Donations - collected upon registration or anytime throughout the year

2. Fundraiser Events - such as Turkey Trot, Movie Nights, Family Dinner Nights, Portion of Auction and Camp Vista Grande

3. "Free money” Programs – such as corporate match, Amazon Smile and Escrip

Your $400 single donation per child ($700 per family) generates roughly half of our budget. So, when you pay your donation to Falcon Fund, you are helping to keep your child’s paraprofessional in their classroom.

Thank you for supporting  with your family donation and for supporting Falcon Fund Fundraisers throughout the year!!!
